Noelle has always had a passion for interiors. As a little girl her interest was sparked by her parents love for old houses, and their passion projects whether it be multi-year century-old home restorations or custom home builds. The fire was stoked when they would allow Noelle to choose her room color or weigh in on tile and countertop choices.
Noelle was the child who was always re-arranging her room. And playing with bold color choices. She credits much of this experimentation and curiosity with design to her mother, who created magical spaces for her family to grow in. Thirty years later, Noelle’s childhood friends still talk about the red and white chinoiserie wallpaper that wrapped the walls to the formal entry of the 1800’s colonial they were living in at the time. The magic of this wallpaper was that within this chinoiserie there were monkeys swinging back and forth. This is a perfect representation of her mothers boldness and playfulness. Which is a representation of how she lives her life.
As Noelle grew up and started living in her own spaces, she quickly realized that her own style and personality was tied into the spaces she lived in. As she found and became more confident in her personal style this translated to her interiors. Noelle Paquette Interiors focuses mainly on what she calls New England Transitional, which is a mix of modern and traditional styles, with high contrast and classic patterns.
